“Normally, when two people on OkCupid have high match rates (For example two Cupids on here having rates of 70% on both their profiles.) you would THINK that both Cupids would be talking left and right even going as far as to try and arrange a meeting in real life right? WRONG. For sometime I have been baffled by a fellow Cupid named Melly-y. I am very baffled by her because despite the two of us sharing the same interests:
We both love music by Yasunori Misuda and Nobuo Uematsu, We both love anime, we both love video games, We both love Austin Powers, Monty Python, Team America, Rush Hour, Harry Potter, and countless others, We both love the Bible, We both love The Romance of the Three Kingdoms (I am very fond of Zhuge Liang, a famed Shu Stragist who is one of China’s most inspirational citizens to have ever lived.), We both love Manga (or Japanese Comics). We both are fond of international politics and affairs, We both love being creative, we both love eating out.
I could go on all day, but I would sound like an obsessive nutcase. What I want to know is why am I not getting replies from her? Is her Private Messaging and/or Instant Messaging device broken? I mean, we share so many similarities and it just bothers me that I get no reply. It makes me sad, yet what can I do?”

I found this guy in the OKcupid forums discussing why he can’t get a date. Come on, ladies. Anime. What is not to love?
