Never make out in the dark
“We met in January. Started through messages here. Quickly it progressed to personal email, then to the telephone. She was a writer, and an excellent one. I’ll get to the reason later. Anyway, we had our first date. A night of excellent conversation and drinks, and a bit of groping and making out in the dark, which ended with us sleeping quite cozily. Then things start to get wierd. She tells me of these many tramautic occourances that occoured in her life, including multiple rapes, and a death bed eating disorder. But she insists that she is fine, mentally. Then, the day before our next scheduled date, she cancelled. Well, actually, she had “a friend of hers” send me an email (using her account) telling me that she was in the hospital after being savagely mugged. She called me the next morning and told me she had broken bones, and her eye was swollen shut. She didn’t want me to see her like that. On our next (and last) date, I met her at her place. She spent the entire time from the moment I got to her place doing anything she could to make me uncomfortable, and starting arguments. When I tried to leave, she accused me of bailing. Being a sucker, I decided to stay and try to smooth things over. After an uncomfortable dinner, we went back to her place, where after arguments and insults, she demanded sex. That was the end of that.”
